Photo-Trip to Greece: Skiathos
As the last leg of our trip we went to Skiathos. This island is smaller than Skopelos and very touristic. But this has advantages, too, i.e. there are all amenities (food etc.) available.

Skopelos is part of the Sporades, located near the east coast of Greece and half-way between Thessaloniki and Athens. The big island next to Skiathos is well known from the Mamma Mia film (with Abba music). We went to Skopelos from Volos with the ferry, but there is also an airport on Skiathos.

Coming from Meteora with the train we had to make a stop in Volos to wait for the ferry to Skopelos on the next day.

Meteora is an amazing place in the middle of Greece. We went there from Athens to do some hiking before we headed to the Sporade islands.
